Some harmful chemicals and materials which pollute the atmosphere is called AIR POLLUTION

• Nitrogen Oxides

CAUSES

• BURNING OF FOSSIL FUELS

When natural sources like coal,petroleum,wood etc are burnt they produce Sulfur Dioxide which is the one of the main air pollutants. Other than human activities like vehicles i.e car,truck,jeep,trains, aeroplanes causes immense amount of pollution in atmosphere.

• AGRICULTURE ACTIVITIES

For the high quality of crops, now the uses of pesticides,fertilizers,insecticides are more common these days.They produces a most dangerous gas which is AMMONIA for the atmosphere.

• WASTAGE OF INDUSTRIES

Many industries release most of their waste material which contain organic compounds, hydrocarbons causes the deficiency of air's quality.

• EXCAVATION OPERATIONS

Excavation is a process in which we derive many useful minerals from earth.By this process many dust and chemicals are releases in air causing immense air pollution.
